In a crowded courtyard of the town hall in Herencia, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation and enthusiasm. Attendees were eagerly awaiting the start of one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year. Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, the councillor of Education, did not disappoint and, with words full of emotion, inaugurated the third edition of the Festival of the Spoken Word, dubbed “Herencia of Words.”
But the beginning of this festival was not limited to a simple opening ceremony. Those present had the opportunity to be transported to a world full of magic and nature through the performance of storyteller Félix Albo. With his show “Trees,” Albo guided the audience on a charming journey among mysterious and magical trees. Each tree came to life and took on its own personality under the gaze and voice of this talented Mediterranean narrator, leaving everyone absorbed and excited.
This is only the beginning of what promises to be a memorable edition of the festival. Until October 21st, the residents of Herencia and visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in various literary and oral activities and experiences that celebrate the power and beauty of words.
