The mayor Sergio García-Navas, along with the Urban Planning Councilor, Francisco Gallego de la Sacristana, have supervised the recent playground installation in the San Antón neighborhood. This space responds to a request made by the Neighborhood Association with the objective of revitalizing and improving the area.
With a budget of €10,000, completely funded by municipal funds, various play structures such as slides, climbing nets, rock walls, and suspension bridges have been installed for children aged 3 to 14. Additionally, a rubber tile surface will be added to prevent possible falls while adhering to regulations that ensure the welfare and safety of minors.
García-Navas highlighted the local government’s commitment to promoting spaces for leisure and socialization for younger children by offering multiple options to use their free time and interact with other children, especially in areas with new housing, demonstrating the growth of Herencia.
This recreational space joins the park inaugurated months ago in the Castilla-La Mancha development and the maintenance work being carried out in other parks in the municipality, ensuring that children can enjoy a comfortable and safe environment.
