The Youth Center of Herencia has prepared a range of activities focused on healthy leisure to enrich the Easter vacations of young people and adults. This year’s program includes activities such as a photographic route, a foosball championship, and a puppet workshop with values.
The program will kick off on Saturday, March 23 with the celebration of ‘Earth Hour’. On this day, the Youth Center will organize a ‘Photowalking’ activity that will allow participants to capture the natural beauty with their mobile phones while promoting physical activity. The chosen route is the circular Sierra de la Horca, with a low/medium difficulty, and is open to all interested participants who should meet at the Youth Center at 4:00 p.m.
On Monday, March 25, the excitement of foosball will take over the Youth Center with the long-awaited Foosball Championship for couples. The tournament will start at 5:00 p.m. and is aimed at young people born between 2010 and 2014. Winners will receive trophies and all participants will be recognized with a diploma.
Additionally, from March 25 to 27 and April 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the workshop ‘Educating values through puppets’ will offer young people the opportunity to create their own puppets and develop a play that reflects positive values such as tolerance and empathy. This workshop not only fosters creativity but also teaches teamwork and emotional expression.
This diverse program of activities is a testament to the commitment of the Youth Center to the integral development of the young people of Herencia, providing learning and fun spaces during school breaks. Furthermore, the Center will host the ‘Conciliatory Easter Week’ activity from the Corresponsables Program, offering families a care solution for their children during these holidays.
