The mayor of Herencia, Sergio García-Navas, and the councilor of Social Welfare, Conchi Rodríguez-Palancas, have met with representatives of the breast cancer women’s group in the area, known as “Las Supernenas,” including Montserrat Jiménez and Lola García-Ropero.
The meeting aimed to share and define various activities of interest for both the municipality and the community of women affected by this disease. Among the association’s presented initiatives, the “Lanza Sueños” project stands out, which seeks the employment insertion of people with cancer.
The Herencia City Council has shown its willingness and commitment to collaborate with “Las Supernenas” in carrying out these activities and projects, in order to improve the quality of life of the residents facing this condition. This meeting reflects the importance of establishing alliances between public institutions and social groups to address health and well-being issues in the community.
The collaboration between both entities will allow the implementation of initiatives that benefit women with breast cancer in Herencia, providing them with support and opportunities to face the challenges that this disease entails.
