Immersed in the middle of May and with the arrival of good weather, the poster with the activities that have been planned for the celebration of the pilgrimages of San Isidro on May 18 and the Virgin of the Cabeza on the 26th is presented by the Festivities department.
The Herencia Town Hall collaborates once again with these brotherhoods, to give splendor to these festivities where hundreds of people gather to enjoy the outdoors, the countryside, and socializing, in a deeply-rooted tradition of a playful and religious nature.
In addition to the liturgical events, a variety of parallel activities have been scheduled to spend a pleasant day in an exceptional environment with family and friends.
Music will once again take center stage at the Pedriza area where there will also be inflatables for the enjoyment of the little ones. On the first day, there will be a concert by ‘The Pepper’s Club Band’ and around midnight, the performances of DJs Danny Canario and Xule García.
The following week, continuing with the Weekend Fest theme, there will be a concert of ‘Ultra Pop’ with versions from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, and to close the program, DJs Victor García, Kous, and Isaac Romero.
Bus service will be maintained
Additionally, as in previous editions and well-received by users, there will be a free bus service from the station to La Pedriza, from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am, to enjoy with greater peace of mind. And at the Nature Classroom, a unified first aid station between Civil Protection and Red Cross will be set up for any emergencies that may occur.
Herencia is preparing to enjoy two of the most popular and deeply-rooted nature celebrations, with good music and the best atmosphere at the well-known ‘Pozos del Agua’.
