Last weekend, the students of the Herencia Municipal Sports Schools participated in the IV Official Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament in Pedro Muñoz, where they achieved excellent results, once again demonstrating their dedication and effort in this discipline. The competition, held at the Pedro Muñoz Municipal Pavilion, brought together numerous clubs from the region, becoming a day of socializing and sports where the gymnasts from Herencia shone with their talent.
The Herencia City Council congratulated the students and their coaches, recognizing the commitment and constant work they have carried out throughout the course to achieve these results. “It is a pride to see the effort of these young athletes and their coaches reflected in competitions of this level,” commented the council.
International success in dance at the CND Europa competition in Rome
Not only in rhythmic gymnastics were there celebrations for sports in Herencia. On the same weekend, young dancers Celia Martín-Consuegra and Julián García represented Herencia in the CND Europa Dance Competition held in Rome. After surpassing qualifying stages both at regional and national levels, both managed to stand out in the fusion category at this renowned competition.
Celia Martín-Consuegra, along with her partner, achieved the second place, an achievement that reflects their talent and effort in this artistic discipline. On the other hand, Julián García, also in the fusion category and forming a pair, won the third prize, consolidating his position among the best in this European contest.
These international achievements are a reflection of the quality and commitment of the young talents of Herencia, who have worked hard to achieve recognition in a European level competition.
