On Monday, June 5th, the courtyard of the City Hall of Herencia celebrated the culmination of the VI Edition of the Inmortales project, an event that honors the contributions of distinguished authors to literature. In a ceremony filled with culture and emotions, the councilor for library and youth, María José Sánchez Rey, presented the Immortals Award 2023 to J.R Barat for his work “Clara in the darkness”. This recognition, awarded by a jury composed of young participants in the project, was received very emotionally by the author.
The evening was enlivened by the musical performance of the local group Antotipia, composed of Alicia, Diego, Jesús, and Adrián. These young talents from Herencia delighted attendees with their music, contributing a vibrant and enriching atmosphere to the event.
The Library and Youth Area thanked all attendees for their attendance at this event in recognition of reading. They also extended a special thank you to the educational centers for their involvement in the project, and to author J.R Barat for his generosity and support of this valuable initiative.
This event once again demonstrates Herencia’s commitment to promoting culture and literature, as well as supporting local youth talent.
