Last Saturday was a day of celebration for the soccer teams of our Municipal Sports Schools, who participated in the closing ceremony of the Zona Mancha competition, held in Socuéllamos and Tomelloso. A total of six teams from our town were present, showcasing the result of their hard work throughout the season.
We highlight the outstanding performance of the Alevín “B” team, under the guidance of Jose Carlos Díaz-Meco, who not only won the championship in the regular phase but also became the champion in this closing event, capping off an exceptional year for these young talents.
Furthermore, the Alevín team of School Sports, led by Jesús David Romero, achieved an important victory by qualifying for the final phase of the School Sports Championship after leading their group in the competition. This achievement is a clear reflection of the excellent level of preparation and dedication of our teams.
Upcoming events include the closing of the Interescuelas competition for the teams led by Diego Toribio and Josue Jiménez, with the latter also advancing to the final phase of the Globalcaja League with the Benjamín team.
