Successful closing ceremony of the I Quijote’s Handball Training Camp in Herencia.

The I Quijote’s Handball Technification has come to an end this afternoon, after starting last Monday. The sporting event has featured prominent figures in handball such as Manolo Laguna and José Luís Pérez Poblete.

Directed to athletes from the alevín to juvenile category, the technification included educational talks, technical-tactical training, physical preparation, and goalkeeping improvement. This program was designed to promote the development of young talents in the sport of handball.

At the diploma award ceremony, Sergio García-Navas, the mayor of the locality; Francisco Gallego, the councilor for sports; Pedro Rodríguez, the president of the local club and vice president of the FBMCLM; José Luís Pérez Poblete, the technical director of the FBMCLM; and Francisco García-Arias, the organizer of the technification, were present.

The I Quijote’s Handball Technification has been a unique opportunity for the attendees to take advantage of these days of coexistence and training. It is expected that all participants have enjoyed and learned at this sporting event, which has been a success in terms of organization and content.

The celebration of these types of events in the locality strengthens the commitment of the local authorities to promoting sports and supporting young athletes.
