On Saturday, June 3rd, the town of Herencia is preparing to host the eleventh edition of the Ntra. Sra. de la Soledad 8-a-side football tournament. This event, eagerly anticipated by football enthusiasts, is organized by the Municipal Sports Service of the Herencia City Council, in collaboration with the Hermandad de Ntra. Sra. de la Soledad and Herencia CF.
The tournament, which once again has the support of the Council of Ciudad Real and the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the Youth and Sports Service of the Provincial Delegation for Education, Culture, and Sports, promises to be a day filled with excitement and great football.
The activities of the tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until 9:00 p.m., with competitions in both the youth categories of benjamin and alevin. The presentation of the event was held at the José María Fernández de la Puebla Municipal Football Field, and was attended by various local personalities, including Sergio García-Navas, mayor of Herencia, Francisco Gallego de la Sacristana, Councilor for Sports of the Council, and Luis García-Morato, Head of the Sports Service of the JCCM in Ciudad Real. Members of the boards of the Hermandad de Ntra. Sra. de la Soledad and Herencia CF were also present.
This 8-a-side football tournament is an excellent opportunity for young football players in Herencia to showcase their skills and enjoy friendly and sportsmanlike competition. Expectations are high, and the community is eager to enjoy a day of great football.
