During yesterday morning, the Municipal Sports Center of Herencia was filled with enthusiasm and sport with the celebration of the III Intercenter 3×3 Basketball Tournament. This activity, which marks the beginning of the Sports Christmas organized by the Municipal Sports Service of Herencia, brought together more than 200 participants divided into close to 50 teams.
The tournament, which has already established itself as one of the most anticipated sports events of the year, had the active collaboration of the educational centers of the town, once again demonstrating the value of sports as a tool for unity and education for young people.
Throughout the day, teams made up of students of different ages competed in matches full of excitement, strategy, and above all, sportsmanship. The 3×3 format allowed for dynamic matches and high participation, ensuring that all players could fully enjoy the experience.
Coach Chema, from the Municipal Sports Schools, played a key role in organizing the event. His dedication, both in the planning stage and during the tournament, was essential to guarantee the success of the activity.
The trophy presentation, held at the end of the tournament, was chaired by Serafín Tajuelo, Councilor for Sports of the Herencia City Council, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting healthy habits and sports values among young people. Along with him, representatives of the educational centers of the town also participated, showing their support for their students and the promotion of school sports.
The winning teams received their respective trophies amidst applause and recognition from the audience present, who kept cheering throughout the day.
The III Intercenter 3×3 Basketball Tournament is not just a standalone activity, but the starting point of a calendar full of sports activities that will extend throughout the Christmas season.
