The IX Football Camp in Herencia begins with over a hundred participants.

This past Monday, the ninth edition of the Herencia Football Campus began, in which more than a hundred children between the ages of 8 and 14 will participate. This sports initiative has surpassed the maximum number of registered girls to date in this edition, marking a milestone in its history.

The first day of the campus served as an introduction for the young footballers to the activity. The participants carried out technical and tactical training, as well as multi-sport activities during the morning, followed by futsal, water games, and collective games in the afternoon.

On the following day, the campus participants will travel to Madrid to visit the Ciudad del Fútbol de las Rozas, the headquarters of the Spanish National Team. Afterwards, they will head to the Parque Warner, where they are expected to have an unforgettable experience.

The event organizers hope that all the children will enjoy a week full of sports, companionship, and fun, thanks to the work of the campus monitors, whom they thank for their dedication and commitment to carrying out this activity.

The mayor of the town, Sergio García-Navas, visited the event on the first day to hear firsthand the impressions of the 105 participants in this activity, a record number for the Herencia Football Campus. The event reflects the growing interest of the youth in the town in football and sports in general.
