The 19th edition of the traditional Marathon of Stories and Arts Bazaar took place on Friday night, organized by the Municipal Library of Herencia. The event, inaugurated by the Councilor for Equality, Culture, and Youth, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, was a resounding success and was filled with thrilling stories and creative craftsmanship.
Borrón y Cuento Nuevo, the acclaimed storytellers, entertained the audience with their tales, bringing to life a marathon of stories that lasted nearly four hours. Almost 40 people, including children, young people, and adults, participated in the event, sharing their own stories and listening to the exciting stories of others.
But it wasn’t just about stories. The night was also filled with art and craftsmanship thanks to the Arts Bazaar, which took place in parallel. Visitors had the opportunity to stroll among the stands of local artisans, admiring and buying a variety of unique products. From jewelry and wooden toys to organic cosmetics and henna tattoos, there was something for everyone.

The Marathon of Stories and the Arts Bazaar are annual events that seek to celebrate and promote creativity and the arts in Herencia. After the success of this year, we eagerly await the next edition.
