The Department of Sports in Herencia has announced the opening of the Municipal Pool for the upcoming summer season, starting on June 10th and running until September 10th. This is the result of a careful action plan designed to provide citizens with a safe and enjoyable space to spend their summer.
Following the trend from last year, the pool will operate on established schedules: from 12:30 PM to 7:45 PM from Monday to Friday, from 12:30 PM to 8:15 PM on Saturdays, and from 11:00 AM to 8:15 PM on Sundays. This schedule has been designed taking into account the needs and comforts of all users, offering a wide window of time for residents to enjoy the aquatic facilities.
The process of acquiring passes for access to the facilities will begin on June 5th. As in previous years, this process will be carried out digitally, through the platform of the Municipal Sports Service. This pass acquisition system not only speeds up the purchasing process but also reduces the need for physical interactions, which is especially important in these times of pandemic.
Once the pass has been managed digitally, users can access the facilities either through a QR code generated during the purchasing process, or simply by providing their user information at the ticket counter. This dual method of access offers flexibility and comfort to users, while ensuring efficiency and safety in entering the facilities.
In addition, daily passes will also be offered digitally, although it will still be possible to purchase them at the ticket counter. This hybrid system ensures that everyone, regardless of their level of comfort with technology, can access the pool facilities.
Regarding activities, the Department of Sports promises to publish information soon about registrations for swimming courses and other alternative activities besides free swimming, such as Pilates Summer. These initiatives aim to promote a healthy lifestyle among users and provide entertainment options beyond just swimming.
Until its opening, the Herencia City Council will continue to work on preparing the facilities and including all the innovations that will make the Municipal Pool an ideal environment for the summer season.
