This day marks a new chapter in the political history of Herencia. This morning, in an emotional ceremony, the new Municipal Corporation has taken office after the results of the recent 2023 Municipal Elections. The highly significant event was held in the Courtyard of the Herencia Town Hall.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by the city’s main authorities, as well as representatives from various associations, groups, and of course, the residents of the town. This day not only marks the beginning of a new municipal administration, but also reinforces the democratic commitment of the Herencia community.
Leading the new Municipal Corporation is Mayor Sergio García-Navas. He, along with the new councilors, will assume the responsibility of leading the Town Hall for the next 4 years.
