Promising athlete Inés Figuero Alfaro will be the new addition to the Youth Women’s team of SMD BM Quijote Herencia for the upcoming season. The Olías de Rey native has been selected to defend the goal of the youth team, replacing Inmaculada García Navas, who has moved up to the Liga Iberdrola.
Inés has stood out as one of the best goalkeepers in her category in the last season. Her skill and ability on the field made her a key player during last year’s Spanish Autonomous Regions Selections Championship (CESA), where her team won the silver medal. Recently, she has also showcased her talent in the competition that took place in León a few weeks ago with the regional cadet selections.
Figuero Alfaro comes to provide a significant boost to Herencia’s youth team with her addition. With her proven ability and passion for handball, Inés is likely to become a valuable addition to the team, bringing her skills and experience to the squad.
