In CEIP Carrasco Alcalde, the activities of the School Garden have been renewed. Despite being in the winter season, the temperatures have allowed for the collection of typical summer products.
The Councilor of Rural Development, María Eugenia Díaz Pacheco Galán, did not want to miss the occasion and was present with the enthusiastic young students and their dedicated teacher, Ramón Mateos de Arriba, to restart this significant activity.
This school project not only aims to involve students in different stages of agriculture, from planting to harvesting, but also has a clear educational purpose. It is intended for young people to appreciate the intrinsic value of agriculture and understand the importance of caring for the environment. Undoubtedly, a practical and enriching way to bring students closer to the agricultural and ecological world.
