The sports atmosphere flooded the facilities of Herencia last Saturday, September 16th. As part of the local festivities, the handball club SMD BM Quijote Herencia celebrated its traditional Fair Trophy. The sports event coincided with the first league match in which the local team played as host in two of its categories.
The matches began with the clash between the Youth Female team of SMD BM Quijote Herencia and Handball Manzanares. Later, it was the turn of the Senior Female team, who competed against Ciudad de Puertollano, in what promised to be an exciting duel.
The day was not only marked by the high level of competition, but also by the trophy presentation ceremony that took place after the matches. Serafin Tajuelo, Sports Councilor of the municipality, had the honor of presenting the awards. He was not alone in this task, as Pedro Rodríguez, president of the SMD BM Quijote Herencia club, accompanied him in this significant event.
Undoubtedly, this sports event not only highlights the competitive spirit and love for handball in Herencia, but also the importance of keeping local traditions and celebrations alive through sports.
