A few days ago, the students of Carrasco Alcalde Public School kicked off the Christmas festivities with a very special celebration: the preuvas, an event full of creativity and holiday spirit. The Mayor of Herencia, Sergio García-Navas, and councilors Cochi Rodríguez Palancas and Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana attended this activity, sharing this heartfelt moment with the students and teachers of the school.
Instead of the traditional 12 grapes, the children tasted gummy worms, adding a playful and fun touch to this unique adapted tradition. This gesture aims to foster creativity and active participation of the youngest ones, making the experience unforgettable.
Dedicated Carol to Herencia
The celebration did not end there. After the preuvas, the students of the school performed a carol created specifically by the school community, a composition dedicated to the town of Herencia. With their voices and enthusiasm, the children filled the atmosphere with joy, marking the start of the Christmas celebrations with a message of unity and love for their town.
A Moment to Remember
The initiative of the Christmas preuvas and the carol reflects Carrasco Alcalde school’s commitment to offering activities that, in addition to being educational, promote values such as creativity, cooperation, and collective enjoyment. The presence of local authorities emphasizes the importance of these events in strengthening the bonds between the educational environment and the community.
This original event is just the beginning of a Christmas season that promises to be full of activities and unforgettable moments for the youngest ones in Herencia.
