This Monday the swimming courses for the summer season 2023 began at the Herencia Municipal Pool. The event has been embraced with great enthusiasm by the community, with over 200 registrations in the different groups offered, covering almost the entire supply for this popular sports activity during the months of July and August.
It is worth mentioning that these courses are structured into two main categories: children and adults. Within the adult category, participants can choose from groups for fitness, beginners, improvement, and training. Additionally, in response to the high demand from previous years, two additional groups have been organized for the activity of baby swimming, which will start next Saturday morning.
In parallel to the start of the courses, one of the most requested activities during the summer season also began: Pilates Summer. This discipline offers participants the possibility to perform their activity in the water or on the grass and is divided into three different groups, according to the scheduled timetables.
Sergio García-Navas, Mayor of the town, along with Serafín Tajuelo, Sports Councilor, visited the start of these activities. Their objective was to personally witness the start of some of the groups offered, as well as to learn about the students’ impressions.
The organization hopes that all participants in these activities will enjoy the training sessions planned by the instructors. This is a great step towards promoting healthy lifestyles and community involvement in physical activity during the summer months.
