Last Sunday, our town, Herencia, was the scene of the third race of the XI BTT Circuit of the City Council of Ciudad Real. The competition, which had about 200 cyclists participating, was inaugurated by Sergio García-Navas, the Mayor of the town, and Ismael Gómez, the president of the local cycling club. The participants traveled through the streets and countryside of our town in a spectacular circuit designed by the Amigos del Plato Grande group. The organization thanks this group for the great work done both in the preparation and during the race.
After the competition, the award ceremony was held, attended by Francisco Gallego, the Sports Councilor, together with Ismael Gómez, the president of Amigos del Plato Grande, and the rest of the members of the cycling club. The organization of the event also thanks the collaboration of all the groups that contributed to the success of this race: Local Police, Civil Protection, Civil Guard, Red Cross, Scout Group, motorcyclists, photographer, and especially all the volunteers who collaborated in the street crossing cuts. Their effort and dedication were fundamental to ensure the safety and good development of the event.

This test of the BTT Circuit of the City Council of Ciudad Real has been an opportunity for cyclists to enjoy our town and its beautiful landscapes, while promoting sports and healthy living in the community.
With the success of this third test, the XI BTT Circuit of the City Council of Ciudad Real continues its journey, bringing enthusiasm for cycling to other towns in the province and promoting sports practice throughout the region.
