The First Vice President of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, José Luis Martínez Guijarro, has made an official visit to Herencia to get a close look at the site where the new Health Center will be built. The visit, which took place this week, was attended by the Mayor Sergio García-Navas and several councilors from the municipal government team.
During his tour of the plot of over 3,600 square meters located on Gómez Montalbán street, Martínez Guijarro was briefed on the details of the project. The plot has been ceded to the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service (SESCAM) by the Herencia City Council, and the new health center will serve the 8,454 health cards corresponding to the basic health area.
The new center aims to meet the demographic growth that the town has experienced in recent years, a situation that has made the current health facilities insufficient for the demand. With expanded dimensions, the new health facility will offer improved services that will allow for more comfortable and efficient patient care, as well as a more suitable working environment for healthcare professionals.
This project represents a significant advancement in improving healthcare services in Herencia, aligning with the growing needs of the community and the commitment of local and regional authorities to ensure quality healthcare.
