From October 12th to 14th, the city of Béjar was the setting for sports and passion for handball. During these days, the first edition of the Béjar Handball City Tournament took place, where the Female Infant and Female Cadet Selections of Castilla – La Mancha demonstrated their potential on the court.
We cannot overlook the outstanding representation of Herencia in both teams. Five talented young athletes from our Municipal Sports Schools proudly and skillfully wore the selection jersey. In the Female Infant category, Aldara Martínez, Elena González, Laura Martín, and Claudia Fernández gave their best, while in the Female Cadet category, Claudia González-Román left her mark on the tournament.
The effort and dedication paid off: The Regional Selection took first place in both categories, winning the title in this inaugural edition. An achievement that fills the entire sports community of Castilla – La Mancha, and especially the town of Herencia, with pride.
From here, we extend our sincere congratulations to all members of both teams, with special recognition for the young champions from our Municipal Sports Schools. Bravo, champions! Your talent and effort are a reflection of the brilliant future that awaits handball in our region.
