The summer in Herencia heats up with the return of the “Young Promises” Summer Indoor Football League. Organized for children born between 2009 and 2018, the competition is designed to promote sports and camaraderie among the youth in the town. Divided into four age categories, the league will bring life to afternoons at the Municipal Sports Center.
The league is structured into the following categories: Children (for those born in 2009, 2010, and 2011), Junior (for those born in 2012 and 2013), Benjamin (for those born in 2014 and 2015) and Pups (for those born between 2016 and 2018). This classification allows for a fair and balanced competition, providing all participants with the opportunity to play against others of their same age and skill level.
Registrations to participate in the league are already open and will extend until June 16. Interested parties can register through the Herencia Municipal Sports Service, by email at [email protected], or at the SMD offices from Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.
All teams wishing to participate must submit the required documentation along with their registration. This documentation includes the identification of the team representative, who must be of legal age, and a coach over 16 years of age. The pertinent authorizations, copies of the players’ ID cards, and the assignment of two referees per team are also required.
