On the morning of last Monday, the Youth Activities Monitors Course began, an initiative funded by the Mancha Norte local action group and carried out in collaboration with the Youth Area of the Herencia City Council. The opening event was attended by Sergio García-Navas, the mayor of the town, and Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, the youth councilor.

The course, which will run from June 24th to July 16th, consists of 100 hours of theory and 150 hours of practical training that will take place once the first part is completed. A total of 25 young people, aged between 16 and 22 years old, have chosen to participate in this training, taking advantage of the summer months to expand their knowledge in the field of socio-cultural animation and orient themselves towards their professional future.

In addition to the theoretical and practical training, this experience will allow participants to meet other young people, share and exchange views on youth issues. The course is being taught by the “La Bola de Cristal” Animation School, known for its practical and innovative approach to training socio-cultural animators.
