The Herencia Youth Center has released its summer agenda full of activities designed for the leisure and free time enjoyment of the young people in the town.
One of the first initiatives that was launched was the Youth Activities Monitor Course, which will be developed in its theoretical phase until July 14th. This proposal has been made possible thanks to the funding from the local action group Mancha Norte.
The program includes traditional events such as the 19th Story Marathon and Arts Bazaar. This activity, in collaboration with the “Miguel de Cervantes” Municipal Library, will feature the participation of storytellers “Borrón y Cuento Nuevo”. The Municipal Park will be the setting for a night of stories and crafts for the enjoyment of everyone.
Another classic event is the Hiking Route, which celebrates its tenth edition, always accompanied by the full moon, as well as creative and craft workshops during the festivities of the neighborhoods of Labradora and Cristo.
This year, the big novelty is the Introduction to Photography Workshop using mobile devices. This workshop, aimed at young people aged 12 and older and taught by Educinema, aims to show young people that mobile phones can be a very useful tool for developing creativity, as well as using them to navigate through social networks.
The “Wednesdays at the Movies”, another classic of the Youth Center that could not be missed this summer, have changed their day and have been moved forward in the week. As in previous editions, attendees will be able to enjoy outdoor and family-friendly movies.
