Last weekend, the Handball Federation of Castilla-La Mancha held various technical sessions, which were attended by several members of the sports schools of the Herencia City Council. Among the participants were eight young promises from the SMD BM Quijote Herencia team: Ángela Gómez Calcerrada, Claudia González Román, Beatriz Mateos de Arriba, Aldara Elena Martínez, Elena Gonzáles, Laura Martín Buitrago, Claudia Fernández Toribio, and Marina Manzanares. These technical sessions aimed to improve and perfect specific aspects of handball and provided an excellent opportunity for the players to acquire new knowledge and skills, which undoubtedly will allow them to contribute more to their respective teams. The SMD BM Quijote Herencia club hopes that the girls learned a lot and can help their teams and teammates continue to grow. Initiatives like these reinforce the club’s commitment to developing the young talents of their team and highlight the importance of technique in handball. The experience gained in these technical sessions will benefit both the individual players and the team as a whole, further strengthening female handball in Herencia.
