El Herenciano Teodomiro Carrero Gallego participates in a meeting with the Agriculture Council and the Federation of Irrigators of Castilla-La Mancha.

On July 31st, the Counsellor of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development, Julián Martínez Lizán, met with representatives from the Federation of Irrigators of Castilla-La Mancha (FERECAM). The meeting took place at 10:30am at the Agriculture Delegation and was attended by various important figures in the sector.

Among the attendees was Teodomiro Carrer Gallego, originally from Herencia and president of the Groundwater Users Communities (CUAS) Consuegra-Villacañas. Also present were Herminio Molina, president of FERECAM, and representatives from the Júcar, Segura, and Guadiana river basins. The representatives from the Tajo river excused their presence.

In addition, José Juan Fernández, Director General of Rural Development, and Ramón Sáez, Delegate of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development, participated in the meeting.

The meeting focused on discussing the challenges and opportunities in the field of agriculture and livestock in the Castilla-La Mancha region. Although specific details of the agenda have not been published, it is expected that the discussions addressed issues related to irrigation, water resource management, rural development, and agriculture and livestock policies in the region.

These meetings are part of Counsellor Martínez Lizán’s ongoing commitment to promoting open and constructive dialogue between the administration and the key actors in the agricultural and livestock sector of the region.
