In an emotional event held last Saturday, the town of Herencia dressed up to welcome the new handball season, presenting the teams that will represent the municipality in both the Sports Schools and the local Club.
The ceremony, which took place at the Municipal Sports Center, was attended by important figures from the sports and political field, such as Sergio Garcia-Navas, Mayor of Herencia; Serafín Tajuelo, Sports Councillor; and Pedro Rodriguez, President of the handball club and Vice President of the Federation. In addition, members of the club’s board and the municipal corporation joined this event celebrating the promising present of handball in the town.
This event not only served to present new faces and established teams, but also to recognize the significant increase in registrations compared to previous years, a clear sign of the growth of this sport in Herencia. The creation of new teams is a reflection of the passion and commitment surrounding handball in the municipality, and augurs a season full of success and joy for the community.
