On the past Saturday, at the Municipal Sports Center, the official presentation of the local handball teams was held, including both the Municipal Sports Schools and the Club. The event was an afternoon of unity and celebration, reflecting pride in the current development of this sports modality.
Throughout the day, the increase in the number of registered participants was highlighted, which has grown for another year in almost all categories. This sustained growth has allowed for the creation of new teams, strengthening the structure of local handball and providing more opportunities for young people and adults interested in practicing this sport.
Among the attendees at the event were prominent figures such as Sergio García-Navas, Mayor of the town; Serafín Tajuelo, Sports Councillor; José Manuel Bolaños, Municipal Councillor and Provincial Deputy; José Manuel Aragón, Municipal Councillor; and Pedro Rodríguez, President of the Club and Vice President of the Federation. Additionally, some members of the local board participated, showing their support and commitment to the sports project.
At the end of the event, a special thank you was expressed to all the fans and family members who filled the Sports Center throughout the afternoon, emphasizing the importance of their support for the teams’ success. Likewise, good luck was wished to all the teams for the rest of the season, with the hope that they continue to achieve success and promote handball in the community.
