Nuestro ilustre herenciano, pintor y profesor universitario, Our illustrious herenciano, painter and university professor, Agustín Úbeda Agustin Ubeda -Romero Moreno-Palancas ha fallecido en Madrid a la edad de 82 años, sin duda una gran perdida para todos. Agustín Úbeda, Doctor en Bellas Artes por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Académico de la Real Academia de Doctores de España, nació en Herencia (Ciudad Real) en 1925. En 1944 ingresa en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Madrid donde fue discípulo de Vázquez Díaz, Eugenio Hermoso y Joaquín Valverde, y donde recibió el título de Profesor de Dibujo cuatro años más tarde.
